Isabela is the largest island in the archipelago with a line of volcanoes stretching for more than 100 miles. Each volcano has its own endemic tortoise subspecies. A climatic barrier forms due to such tall volcanoes and spending a few days in this area gives you a raw experience. Deep oceanic animals come to the waters here due to the upwelling current; dolphins, orcas, sunfish and blue whales will make an appearance.
